George Turmon

IFBB Professional Bodybuilder

1957 — 2023  •  Georgia State Basketball  •  35 Years in Fitness

"I've met a few trainers but George Turmon by far is the best. You want to transform your body, come see George."

From the hardwood at Georgia State to the bodybuilding stage, George Turmon spent 35 years mastering the science of human transformation. He won Mr. South Carolina in 1990, earned his IFBB Pro Card at the 2003 Masters Nationals as a Super-Heavyweight champion, then placed 5th at the Masters Olympia just one month later — after hip replacement surgery the year before. The audience booed because they believed he deserved higher.

He opened TNT Fitness Studio to pass that knowledge forward — training champions, executives, stay-at-home parents, and everyone in between with the same attention to detail he brought to the stage. His legacy doesn't hang on a wall. It lives in every athlete who trains here.

2003

TNT Fitness Studio Founded

George poured everything he knew into building a studio where anyone could train like a champion. His sons Jonathan, Jordan, and Joshua now carry that fire forward.

TNT Fitness Studio - founded by George Turmon

Built on his foundation.
Growing beyond his dreams.

Jonathan began training under his father at age 14. Today, alongside trainers Stephanie and the TNT team, he carries forward the same standard George set on the competition stage — personalized, detailed, relentless in the pursuit of your best.

Your Coaches

Jonathan Turmon, Co-Owner and ISSA Certified Personal Trainer

Jonathan Turmon

Co-Owner • ISSA Certified Personal Trainer • MS Addiction Counseling

The oldest son of IFBB Pro George Turmon, Jonathan was running his father's gym in Powdersville, South Carolina by age 14 — writing strength and conditioning programs and managing the floor. After George's passing, Jonathan and his brothers Jordan and Joshua took the reins of TNT, honoring a 35-year legacy. Now an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer with a Master's Degree in Addiction Counseling, he brings a rare mind-and-body approach — helping clients break through psychological barriers alongside physical ones. His clients describe him as dedicated, expert at crafting tailored plans, and the kind of coach who explains the purpose behind every exercise while pushing you past what you thought was possible.

Stephanie, SNBF Pro Figure Competitor and Certified Personal Trainer

Stephanie

A state champion cheerleader from Alaska who turned her lifelong athletic drive into a career transforming others. Stephanie is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Small Group Trainer who earned her SNBF Pro Card in Figure at the 2025 Georgia State Pro-Am — carrying on the same competitive spirit George built this gym on. She leads TNT's circuit training classes and specializes in weight loss, strength and conditioning, sports-specific training, and post-surgery rehabilitation. Her clients describe her as kind, encouraging, and meticulous — the kind of trainer who makes you feel stronger after every session.
